Welcome to SPEC (Subaru Performance Enthusiast
Club). We are located mostly in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington
area. However, we have members that extend as far east as Bend, Oregon,
as far west as Seaside, Oregon and as far south as Eugene, Oregon. We
generally get together once a month to just have fun. We've done everything
from attending car shows (Zupan's Historic Races and PNWSEC Car Show),
for fun-runs (Mary's Peak, Corvallis, Oregon), PIR Track Days with BMW
club, Pizza, work parties, etc. So as you can see it's not a boring meeting
every month. Our club also supports two ProRally Teams (Hairpin Racing
and Primitive Racing) and one ClubRally Team (SAS Motorsports). So if
you are interested in rallying, this is the best way to get all of your
questions answered and "getting your hands dirty" working on the racecars.

How to be a member?
It's easy... just send me an email and I'll put you one the mailing
list for our newsletter. In these newsletters, I'll let you know when
the next meeting is and where. Don't worry, I'll try and mix it up a
little bit so we can get some variety. I look forward to seeing you
new members out there.
SPEC's History
SPEC actually started with a bunch of guys that showed up for a BMW
track day at PIR (Portland International Raceway). Through conversation
of the small group that was there, we felt that it would be fun to get
together and have fun! So we created this club for fun. The key word
being "fun". We had plans on getting together to do fun-runs,
shows, picnics, track days, and so on.
Now that there are over 80 members that are involved in the SPEC club
and it still continues to grow. We may not be the best club in the nation,
nor the most fun... however, we are all about trying to attchieve that
level having fun.
